2011
« on: September 06, 2010, 02:40:21 PM »
As the song goes "It's lucky for Spurs when the year ends in one"

1901 - FA Cup (as a non league side)
1921 - FA Cup
1951 - Division 1 Champions
1961 - Division 1 Champions & FA Cup
1971 - UEFA Cup Winners
1981 - FA Cup Winners
1991 - FA Cuo Winners
(Other trophies and years are available)

So OK we missed out 2001 as we were having a rest at the time, but dare we dream of 2011 ?

Premiership, Champions League, FA Cup or even all 3 ?

I know I am probably slightly insane but no Prem Footy until next weekend  8D

I doubt we will win the league or Champions League but I think we have a chance to lift one (or both) of the cups. To be honest, I would be more than happy with that because League Cup is better than no cup. Not to mention the FA Cup.

I think if we are to be realistic the domestic cups may be our only real chance of silverwear, but having said that, i think we will maybe play more of our fringe players in these comps, focusing more on the prem and CL for sucess. There's no doubting we can compete on four fronts this year though!!
