If the FA really should approach Redknapp in 2012 then I'd be more than happy for him. The Italian axeman will probably make nothing of England (I am already waiting for another win so that people can start shouting how England will win Euro '12). By 2012 Harry will be 65, so whether the FA will find him suitable remains to be seen. I personally would let him go and bring back Martin Jol.

I doubt the F.A will offer Harry the England job. Falling foul of the taxman whether guilty or not will not sit well with them. Look at Terry Venables he was sacked due to his extra curricular activities and I think they see Harry in the same light. Of the current list of potential candidates he is the best choice but that doesn't  mean he will be appointed see Brian Clough if anymore evidence of that where needed. As to the next Spurs Manager Levy should be practicing crawling on his knees now ready to go and beg Martin Jol to come back to the club he was so cruelly removed from.

Every time he says that he wouldn't turn down the England job if offered it, the papers turn that into - 'Harry want's the England Job'. Would hate to lose him but he's be good for England.

I really hope they offer it a younger manager from a purely selfish point of view, 'Arry has turned our club round and I personally would like to see how far he can take us !!!

Mind you though if he did take it he would be the best England manager we've had for decades !!!!

I think its inevitable that Harry will be England manager at some stage but i hope it isnt in the near future because we can definatly improve and win stuff with him in charge and the improving has already started. I just wish he would stop talking about the bloody job! I care about Spurs so much more than i do England but it just seems that the FA will ask him to take it when Capello walks.

I totally agree we have come so far under 'Arry and I would love to see how far he can take us. You never know when the time comes we could be Champions of Europe and Premier League Champions and he won't want to leave, wake up I'm dreaming again LOL !!!
