Watched The Fith Elemant last night, love that film. I always watch it when its on TV. Visually just as good as today's Sci-fi's. I think the fact its a British/French production gives it great character. Plus Mila Jovovich is HOT HOT HOT!

A quality Luc Besson movie, the look and style of the film that John Paul Gaultier gave it was brilliant, only ruined by Lee Evans gurning act halfway through.

Mila Jovovich is definitely HOT HOT HOT in that film despite being a ginge, in fact that was the best on screen Ginge since Molly Ringwald in Pretty in Pink (formative years being my only excuse).

Last film I saw was Shoot Em Up, a not half bad attempt at re-making a HongKong era John Woo-esque genre gun movie and best use of a carrot on film since Bugs Bunny!

In My Fathers Den
Yeah i know it is a Kiwi film and like most Kiwi films it is pretty bleak and brooding. It has got some wonderful twists in it though. Well wortha look but don't expect much high paced action.

ZODIAC

Based on true events of America's most notorious serial killer. It's a very long film, 151 mins which seemed to go on from ever so don't watch it if you're tired. I fell asleep for this reason, not because it was a bad film. One of my weird interests is serial killers & it was pretty good.
7.5 to 8 out of 10 - ish, lol I can't decide! :p

I have no idea what a DDOS attack is but it sounds a bit like a girl with large breasts attacking us? Is there any video of the attack as i would like to watch that one day?

In Brugge - 8/10

Stars Colin Farrell, Ralph Feinnes and Brendan Gleesen, and is about two Irish hitmen Ray (Colin Farrell) and Ken (Brendan Gleesen) being sent to Brugge to lie low for a few weeks after the last job went slightly wrong.

A quite dark film, but some funny jokes in there too mainly about how crap Brugge is, oh and also a spurs joke there too which was kinda funny. Plenty usage of the 'f' word not a great deal of violence but a there a midget in it lol

Saw that at the cinema on Thursday night, not sure it was a 10/10, more a 7/10 to me.

Over hyped, a bit of a silly plotline (even compared to the others) but well done and good they didn't try and pretend he was still as young as he was. Fortunate for the series that history had the Commies as the big threat then to replace the Nazi's in the plotline and they could tie it into an McCarthy era paranoia.

But there was zero need to include Ray Winstone at all and it would have been miles better to have the Chinese kid from "Temple of Doom" back as his adopted sun than a sterotype Marlon Brando from "On the waterfront".

But the last file I watched was Jean De Florette on dvd, that was better than Indy 4 and is a 8.5/10 a simple tale of two farmers trying to con a neighbour out of his farm to get his better soil and spring so they can grow carnations. Sounds naff but is superb.

Am watching the sequel, Manons De Source tonight (which I think is the original book name of the whole story).

i think the idea of using shiloa lebeuf is that he will take over from ford in the next film*if the decide to carry on with the francise, i ab a big indiana fan and think they have never made a bad one, this to me was the best(but then that could be because i have been waiting a million years for it to be made), the only thing i wassn't impressed with was what they find in the temple...thatsa bit far fetched for me,

I know what you mean waiting for ages for it, me too, im another Indy-phile.

You're right about far fetched too, but I guess if you went along with the ride that Indy could find the Ark of the Covenant then this is as believable.

Any scrap what I said about Manons De Sources, ended up watching Wild Hogs at my aunts tonight, very funny a proper family film I'd say, although there was a little light swearing in it.

Last movie I saw:

Thirteen Ghosts.

A horror remake starring Tony Shalhoub. Not my favourite movie. I never was one for gory horror movies. And I only saw part of it. Thank God.

3/10.
