Hugo Lloris; should he stay, or should he go?
What do you think of Hugo Lloris? He is now 34 years old and coming close to retirement. One such person who thinks he should stay is former Wet Spammerr, Frank McAvennie; he has said that hanging on to Hugo Lloris would be a smart move for Daniel Levy. There have been others, spurs legends, who have said the same. While other pundits have said that we should look to the future and a more younger model.
Lloris has been a good servant for us, even though he has made some howlers over the years. He has 12 months left on his contract, and there has been speculation that he wants to move back to France for his final years. But nothing is hundred per cent, as he hasn’t made anything public.
With the Spurs captain set to enter the final 12 months of his contract, there has been plenty of speculation about his future over the last few months.
It is believed that he has held talks with Levy about his future, and some have even said that he will sign a new contract, while others have dismissed such a notion.
If he was an outfield player, then question marks would be aplenty, however, in goalkeeper years, he can go well past his sell-by date. Just think, Pat Jennings.

The odd one out:
Just runners up medals from Tottenham, where, everywhere else he has been to, including playing for his home country, he’s picked up a winners medal, but that is the price for coming to Spurs. Just like Kane, nothing.
So, should he stay and never win another medal again, or should he go and win more trophies? The same dilemma goes for anybody else who wishes to play for us. Of course, it needn’t be that way. Now we’ve hit a low maybe Daniel Levy & Joe Lewis are re-examining their Spurs philosophy, and a new dawn is on the horizon?

I am currently a Premium Season Ticket holder (West Stand) in the new stadium. Before that – at White Hart Lane – a season ticket holder in various parts of the ground (mainly in the North stand).
Before becoming a season ticket holder, I stood on the shelf and various other parts of the ground since the 1960s (the season of the double). In 1987 I became one of the first to hold a Spurs Membership card. I was also a life long member of the Spurs supporters club (now defunct).
I go to all home, away and abroad matches.
I was born in 1955, Edgware, London. I currently live in Berkshire.
I also collect all Spurs books, Spurs handbooks, Spurs programmes etc.
Previously, I wrote for Spurs Fanzines: The Spur, Spur of the Moment, My Eyes have seen the Glory and various other Spurs fanzines’. I also wrote for the SpursWeb app & its website.
