If England wants to win, Tottenham Hotspur is the answer.

We all want England to do well and win the Euros, so the best way to do that, apart from winning on the pitch, is preparations. So after the poor Scottish game, the overseers, including Southgate, decided they needed to up and move location, and they moved to Myddelton Lodge at Hotspur Way. Wise decision. A bit of Cockerel in their blood can work wonders for any player. Just ask Kane, Davies and Bale. All rejuvenated for this competition. After England’s 0-0 draw against Scotland, the team decided to change their training base from St Georges’ Park to Tottenham’s training complex.
The Myddelton Lodge was built three years ago and is not open to the public. The accommodation there is only available to elite teams for their preparations. It had previously been used by Brazil ahead of the 2018 World Cup.
The complex has 40 rooms with a 100 per cent noise cancellation system installed in each one, with the beds in each room fitted with mattresses designed to maximise sleep while the lighting also changes temperature due to the time of day. The training base also comes with a plush gym with massage beds, a spa, a yoga gym, and an altitude chamber.
Also, to help players relax, the facility has a cinema screen with games consoles, a fire pit, and an Argentinian barbecue, while there are sun loungers and bean bags in the communal garden area.
Excellent facilities for the England squad to prepare for important matches, such as their game against the Czech Republic. This change in scenery will help to change the mood around the camp.
Levy’s genius
Even though there are a few minor problems with our team (Spurs) and we are still in the process of getting a new manager (it will all come right eventually), it just goes to show you how Levy’s business mind has transformed the old Tottenham ground and our training facilities to a posher and swisher business enterprise.
The trouble is the impatience of some of our supporters. I say, one step at a time and steady on. Before going into a new business deal and rebuilding, you have to start with the foundations first and build upwards. Unfortunately, the team is at the bottom of the list, but once debts are paid and money comes flooding in, the Football world will be our oyster, all thanks to Levy and Lewis. But patience is the word. Let us give Levy some flexibility, and in the next 10 or more years, we (the team) will be the icing on the football cake. But it all takes time and money.
