Fans anger; Protests are inevitable

Spurs fans are uniting together in anger and plan an anti-ENIC protest during major events for maximum exposure at our Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
In continuation of the protests from last season, Tottenham fans plan to protest against the club’s ownership during the two NFL games due to be played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in October (information from The Daily Mail). But it won’t stop there; according to what I’ve been told, groups of fans plan to have protests throughout the season.
As we all know, our club owners have made some appalling mistakes over recent months that have caused unrest and upset amongst the fan base. Not only that, but supporters also haven’t been happy with the way the club has channelled their money towards different projects (including giving the directors and investors huge bonuses) but left the team with inadequate transfer funds (not being able to compete with the other top five clubs). We also mustn’t forget The European Super League debacle, which also saw protests against Daniel Levy and ENIC. Levy was forced to apologise for signing up for the defunct league.
Then there is the manner in how the managerial chase has played out in public, which has undoubtedly not endeared the club’s ownership to the supporters. Some fans jumped to social media to express their vexation at the way the search has been handled.
According to The Mail, some fans are arranging to make their displeasure with Levy and the board known by coordinating protests at a time that generates maximum irritation, and there are plans for a season-long rally. This will be in and outside of the stadium. Objective; Levy & ENIC out.
The Atlanta Falcons and New York Jets meet on October 10 at Tottenham’s home ground before the Jacksonville Jaguars face the Miami Dolphins a week later on October 17. Such protests won’t go down well with our overseas cousins and could do financial damage. Hopefully, to Levy and Co.’s pockets.
How I see things
To be honest, I don’t blame the fans. Us supporters, who go to every match, are so frustrated in the way the team has declined over the years and the managerial merry-go-round since Levy and ENIC took over. We’ve become a laughing stock, and the club have the nerve to compare ourselves with the likes of Chelsea, United, City and Liverpool. The only saving grace is that Arsenal have fallen below us. Protests might get the owners to buck their ideas up, hopefully. But I can’t see anything improving while Levy & ENIC reside over our great club.

I couldn’t agree more, the way levy & Enic have handled everything since jose was sacked is shocking , disgraceful and inept. Any other global company would have sacked levy. The man is clueless and turning spurs into a circus. A man who worries about money more than trophies. 20 years of treating manager’s with no respect one trophy. 45 years I’ve been going and never have I felt so low.
This man is slowly sucking the life out of our club.
I honestly fear for the future of spurs.
One of the main problems is that there is a lack of communication between the fans and the Board. There might be a great scheme Levy has got planned for the stadium and team, but at the moment it is all guess work and that is why Levy has his critics (including abuse).
