Gareth Bale is not expected to feature for Tottenham Hotspur when they take on West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League on Saturday.
The White Hart Lane game is crucial for Spurs if they are to maintain their push for a second successive top four finish, but PFA Player of the Year Bale is expected to sit it out after picking up a knee injury in the 3-3 draw with Arsenal on Wednesday.
Boss Harry Redknapp could also be without defensive pair William Gallas and Vedran Corluka. They were also injured against the Gunners, while Corluka’s fellow Croatian, midfielder Niko Kranjcar, is a concern with a foot problem.
Wilson Palacios and Alan Hutton (both knee), Jonathan Woodgate (calf) and Ledley King (groin) all remain unavailable, but Jermain Defoe is pressing fir a place in attack.
West Brom, who probably need one win to ensure their survival, have no fresh injury concerns, with Scotland midfielder Graham Dorrans remaining the only absentee with an ankle problem that has dogged him since he sustained it in training in February.
He may now not play again this term.
The Baggies lost their first game under the rule of Roy Hodgson to Chelsea last week, but remain well-placed to stay in the top tier.
