Who will finish in the top four – The remaining fixtures for us, Chelski, the Foxes, the spammers, and the scousers.
We closed the gap and got closer to the Foxes, Spammers and the Russians when we beat the Blades on Sunday. At the same time, the Foxes dropped points. Sadly, the others didn’t.
In the top-four race, we, the Spammers, Chelski and the foxes have now all played 34 games, with Liverpool back on 33 after their match against Man United was postponed.
Leicester City lead the way on 63 points, with the Russians on 61 and we are on 56. Liverpool and West Ham are on 54 and 58 respectively; Liverpool still have a game in hand.
To have any hope of closing the gap on one of our rivals and achieving Champions League football, well, we’ll need a flawless run between now and the end of the season, but the other clubs also need to drop points as well.
Chelsea will still have one eye on the Champions League, and Leicester have an FA Cup Final on the horizon against the Russians, which might go in our favour (hopefully).
Us:
Leeds United (A)
Wolves (H)
Aston Villa (H)
Leicester (A)
The Foxes:
Newcastle (H)
Man United (A)
Chelsea (A
Tottenham (H)
Chelski:
Man City (A)
Arsenal (H

The Scousers:

Burnley (A)
Crystal Palace (H)
Man United (A)
The Spammers
Everton (A)
Brighton (H
WBA (H)
Southampton (A)
Ourselves and the Spammers have the easiest run-in (on paper), while Chelski, the Foxes and the Scousers have a more difficult run-in.
Still all to play for, but to be honest, Mason needs to pull off a miracle while all the others slip up. As I said, not impossible, but very unlikely. It looks like it could be another season in the Europa League. Of course, if we can dream of the possibility of a top-four place, then it is not beyond the reasons of chance that the Toffees, the Arse-wipes and Villa can also dream of a Europa League spot and knocking us into oblivion. So many permutations.
